Showers of Blessing
O louvor “Chuvas de Graça“, conhecido no Brasil por esse nome, é originalmente em inglês com o título “There Shall Be Showers of Blessing“, escrito por Daniel Webster Whittle (1840–1901). A música foi composta por James McGranahan (1840–1907). Sua tradução é atribuída a José Rodrigues (J.R) como consta no hinário oficial da CPAD.

Ira David Sankey publicou o hino pela primeira vez na Inglaterra, na coletânea “Gospel Hymns N° 4” em 1883 e o incluiu em todas as edições que se seguiram. O nome da melodia permaneceu o mesmo sem alterações, desde sua primeira publicação.
